The season started well for our very-own Waverley United. WU won the first game of the season against Grandis IF by two goals, and the final score was 6-4.

''Everyone knew that we would beat Grandis IF, and everyone know that today's match against Deanor Best FC will end up in magnificent victory!'' commented Lawrence Walker, a Waverley United supporter

Football fans around Hippostania celebrated, and a big TV-screen at Southwark Gardens in Hippostania's capital Waverley showed the match in real-time to thousands of football fans. After the match, streets were full of people, cars were honking their horns and people were very excited and happy. Football sure brings people together!
