Hippostania recognizes the NTC

Today, the Parliament of the Republic of Hippostania has decided to recognize the National Transitional Council of the Libyan Republic as the sole legitemate goverment of Libya and Libyan people. High Chancellor Virtahepo commented:

For 41 years, the Libyan people have been opressed by Muammar Gaddafi and his goverment. The people of Libya have righteously risen up against the dictator, and the Republic of Hippostania fully supports this. From this day on, we recognize the NTC as the sole representative of the Libyan people

We also recieved a message from Mustafa Abdul Jalil, chairman of the NTC.

We're happy that Hippostania has decided to recognize the Libyan Republic. Our fight against the dictator continues, and we appreciate all the help and support we have recieved from Hippostania.

Due to the WA limitations, Hippostania can't directly sell or donate arms to the NTC, but Hippostanian goverment has plans to support the NTC by donating non-lethal & humanitarian equipment. Hippostania is the first Sermoan country to recognize the Libyan Republic.

Honestly, I don't really see the point in doing this. All you're doing is saying your opinions, it isn't changing anything.

Actually, they can. France, Qatar, Maldives, Italy, Kuwait, The Gambia, and Senegal have already bumped in recognized them. And yeah, it doesn't affect anything, I know. That doesn't prevent me from doing it.
