Hippostania celebrates the birth of its 2,000,000,000th citizen
Yesterday at 12:49, a girl was born in the Waverley Memorial Hospital. She was the 2,000,000,000th person ever born in Hippostania. The parents of the child were Arthur Wardill and Amanda Pond. They commented:
A celebration was held in on honor of Jessica. Here are some pictures.

How sweet. Since the parents were both redheads, it is expected that the 2,000,000,000th Hippostanian will be a redhead too. It's not that special though, since whopping 37% of Hippostanians are redheads. That is the largest percentage in the entire world! It is unbelievable! Our daughter was exactly the 2,000,000,000th citizen, even though there were hundreds, if not thousands of people giving birth at the same time! We're very proud of our daughter, and we're very proud of ourselves too! We hope that this will help strengthen our relationship even further! We're also proud to announce that the name of our daughter will be Jessica Pond.

I guess there are no laws to do with privacy anywhere in hippostania.
How else would you be able to know EXACTLY HOW MANY people lived there?
(Also this is probably inaccurate as nationstates gives your current population, so you're assuming that not a single person of those 2 billion has died. Since NS gives your death rates as a percentage, that cannot be true.
Therefore if you have a population of 2 billion that baby will not have been your 2 billionth citizen to be born.
Raining on your parade makes me feel strong.)

Privacy is overrated.Darth GW7 wrote:I guess there are no laws to do with privacy anywhere in hippostania.

//And damn, I didn't think about that. When my population jumped from 1.999 billion to 2.004 billion, I just thought that the 2 billionth resident had been born. I didn't think about the people who have died earlier at all, which was quite dumb. So sorry, that was my fault..
Oh well. Let's just say that because Hippostania's population has never exceeded 2 billion before, Jessica was the first citizen to cross this line.
