Hippostania begins rebuilding efforts in Southeastern Territory (Formerly Jeniferia)

Hippostania has begun efforts to rebuild the wartorn area of Southeastern Territory that was almost completely destroyed in the Jeniferian War. One of our first missions was to get the infastructure back intact. Our engineers and workmen worked 24/7, and have finally managed to reopen the Highway 412 that was extensively bombed by the Hippostanian Air Force from Arthurstown (formerly Holdings) to the border of Cyrpcor. Men are also working in the hospitals, schools and goverment offices of Southeastern Territory, with one simple goal: Raising the destroyed nation back on its feet.

What right did you have to change the name of the capital?

Holdings was named after the Majestic 12. (OOC: Its full name was Majestic Holdings or something like that, can't remember it exactly). Tens of thousands of civilians were killed by the Majestic 12, we consider it fair that we can rename the city after Arthur Stevenson, the general that lead the assault against Holdings during the last days of the Jeniferian War.

Also, we are rebuilding the infastructure, helping the peole and giving them aid. They don't care about their capital city's name at all.

You state that you are democratic, yet you never once put something through the senate.
Why don't you put this idea to the vote and we can see what other nations think of it. Until then, you do not have the authority to choose what to do in this situation.

If it was previously called "Majestic Holdings" what is so wrong about simply "Holdings"?

Long story short, if you want to do something that affects another nation, put it through the senate first. That's a rule to live by.
