The Jeniferian War

Frenzland believes that the entirety of Cyprocor and the remains of Jeniferia be turned into a politically neutral zone, making it, essentially, an area where responsibility is shared by all nations who wish to take part in the upkeep of the country.

We shall have an "Opt in" system for such things; that is, nations must state their intention to take part, and all existing members must discuss and come to an agreement before they will be allowed to join.
Also, membering nations must discuss and agree upon any large-scale plans for the area.

Military activity such as military bases, airfields, missile silos etc. will be completely disallowed - as will military testing of any kind.
The current residents will be free to remain there, but any undeveloped land is free to be used for whatever projects the membering nations decide upon - If they agree, as has been previously stated.

OOC: Cyprocor isn't active anymore, we can't keep it independent.

Thousands of people have died to protect our native land, and the Hipponian people deserve a reward for their brave actions. I'm fine with that if the entire Cyprocor isn't annexed, but a small corridor to connect Southeastern Territories and Hippostania Proper is required.

Also, no nuclear weapons have detonated in Cyprocorian soil. On nuke detonated at the height of 60,000 feet in Cyprocorian airspace, causing an EMP but no casualties.

No corridor is required, you're still fully capable of transport via aircraft.

One should never encourage military action, no matter what the cause, by rewarding nations with extra land.It just encourages invasion and imperialism.
Besides, who says that the Jeniferian people want to be a part of Hippostania?

Jeniferia attacks us, they lose, we get their land. They should've thought that before they attacked.

Yeah, the Jenferian people may not wish to come under Hippostanian rule, in which case it would be forceful occupation of the country, and repression of the people.

That will not end well.

Hippostania seems to suggest that the people of Jeniferia had as much of an impact on the decisions of the Government as justifies the mass-slaughter of millions of innocent civilians.
The people of Jeniferia are not to be punished for the acts of their government.

My suggestion to make Cyprocor and Jeniferia a new, politically neutral nation is much superior to Hippostania's idea that he pinches all their land and runs off with all their money.

And yet Tourists easily fly between Baelgaria and Hippostania quite cheaply? And you're saying it's way too expensive?
Also, You told me the real reason you wanted to annex everything was to "make your country look good on the map"

Our military is prepared to provide aid to both Cyprocor and to occupied Jeniferia. However, if Cyprocor is open for diplomatic contact, we will wait until they have approved our offer.

This is despicable. The Commonwealth hereby formally states that it disapproves of Hippostania's attempts to annex both Cyprocor and Jeniferia, and would wish that you do not follow through with either.

Today Baelgar acquired Southern Jeniferia as spoils from the Jeniferian War. The area is mainly wilderness, and Baelgarian scientists have been itching to get in there and document for years. The border of the newly expanded Baelgaria ends just 50 miles form the Jeniferian capital of Holdings. Hippostania has said that they plan on taking holdigns and claiming the rest of Jeniferia as their own. President Stethos had this to say

"Today, our part of the Jeniferian war has ended. We have gained over 20,000 square miles of land. This will open up new opportunities, scientific and political...Any previous Jeniferian residents who live in the newly annexed area may become a citizen of the Republic of Baelgaria freely. You will not be persecuted for your past allegiances..."

Baelgaria, Frenzland sees no reason why you have any more claim to that land as Hippostania does.
Take a look at my proposition. I think you'll agree that it is much more desirable than fully annexing the land anyway.

All Greater Sermoan forces, previously stationed in Jeniferia, are now stationed in Baelgaria, along the Jeniferian border.

The annexation has already taken place, as per previous agreements with Hippostania. We will attempt to not quash any native culture in the area, but seeing as it is mostly wilderness, there was not many residents.

You say "As per agreements with Hippostania".
But Hippostania has no right to decide who gets where in this situation.
Withdraw your troops immediately - Neither you nor Hippostania has any right to just claim that land as your own, and neither Frenzland, nor other nations will just idly stand by and let you take it.

And what right have you got to decide the fate of Jeniferia, either?

Agreed.
I think Baelgaria should get some, but Hippostania should get most of it, and here's why. Hippostania won the war, yes? Hippostania lost millions of citizens, yes? I think that since Hippostania has suffered the most, it should get rewarded the most. We are willing to fight to defend Hipppostania's right to most of the land (though I dearly hope it does not come to that).
Baelgaria: Why exactly do you have so much right to the lands of Jeniferia? Yes, you participated, but your logic seems to be that since you helped slightly in the capture of Holdings, you should get two-thirds of the land.

Hippostania is not legible for any of the land because of a recent agreement voted in by the senate.
