Frenzland calls for the immediate explusion of Hippostania for this despicable, unprecedented, extreme action. Such use of nuclear bombs is reckless and unnecessary and should NOT be tolerated.

Let this be an example to all nations - Use of nuclear weapons, whether in defense or offense, is inexcusable, least of all without ANY input from other nations who will quite possible be largely affected by it.

The Jeniferian invasion is coming to a stand-still as three EMP's crippled the entire region. The communications are down, commanders have no idea what is happening as the planes plummet down from the skies. Thousands of armed vehicles and tanks have been destroyed during the past 30 minutes by the Hippostanian Armed Forces, while only one F-16 has been lost to enemy anti-aircraft fire.

Reports are coming in from Jeniferia that one of the nuclear bombs dropped earlier today had some sort of malfunction - Sources in Hippostania itself seem to say that a dodgy targeting system was responsible for this. Instead of detonating at 60,000 feet as was supposedly planned, the warhead actually went off at the much lower altitude of 1000 feet. And Jeniferia is suffering the consequences.

The devastating nuclear explosion was only the beginning of Sermo's troubles. The large amount of nuclear debris from all three explosions, especially the malfunctioning third, has collected in the air, rising into the air due to the heat energy produced by all three explosions, and the seasonal South-Eastern winds from Baelgaria and Sidonath mean this cloud of highly dangerous radioactive fallout is spreading to the Northwest.

With all the developments in Hippostania and Jeniferia, one must ask: Was this simply a "Malfunction", an accident? Or is something more sinister going on? And will the rest of Sermo stand for it?

Hippostanian and Jeniferian troops stuck in Cyprocor
After yesterday's nuclear detonations that caused severe problems to Jeniferian military, the Jeniferian troops have dug in their trenches all around Central Cyprocor. Hippostania can't push Jeniferians back to Jeniferia and Jeniferia can't make any advances. It is unlikely that the situation will change any time soon.

In regards to the current Jeniferian-Hippostani war, Greater Sermo has announced it will enforce a "no-fly zone" over Jeniferia. With the current dangers of a takeover by Hippostani of Jeniferia, or vice versa, Lord Blanchard has ordered the military to enforce the borders of Jeniferia with its combination of mercenary troops and Greater Sermoan nationals. Estimates of the troops to be transported to Jeniferia are in the millions, due to Greater Sermo's compulsory military service and large military budget for the mercenaries. Economists predict that the already strong economy in GS will continue to rise as the nation is calling for its civilian transport services to assist transporting the large amounts of troops and vehicles.

The fact that barely any nation has tried to do anything about this shocks me.

For me it's simple, force the current government to resign, and replace it with a trustworthy government, but this is a group decision, and since this is a democracy I want to see what the others say before liberating the people

"Hurry, get them into the fallout bunker!" yelled President Viktor Kasik to workers at his Nulend Beef Co. ranch, as they herded the many cows to the safety of a bunker. "Once that radiation gets over Nulendbund, the cows will be irradiated, and then no one is going to eat any cows!!" he told our reporters. "We need to get these cows to safety as soon as possible, or my busine- I mean, no one will have any food, once these cows are safe everything is going to be fine!"

Helpful suggestion from a Frenzland resident
"Maybe if we got all our helicopters to fly towards the radiation cloud and hit full throttle, we could blow the radiation away! We could direct it to Hippostania so they can taste their own medicine!"

Other suggestions included, but were not limited to, giant radiation "Sinks", a huge hole for the radiation to be buried in, using Hippostanian citizens as Meat/Radiation Shields, and finally, the editor's pick, the creation of a giant space laser to fire at the radiation to make it spontaneously decay into more stable elements. Among this, other favourites were shooting at it, having everyone blow very hard, throwing potato seeds at it, and to nuke Hippostania (For whatever reason).

Today many Baelgarian aid workers were dispatched in helicopters to the area affected by the recent Jeniferian war. Many people in the country of Cyprocar were affected. Aid workers are there to help the Cyprocarians reach designated safe zones in the neutral bordering countries. Aid workers are also rescuing local endagered wildlife and plant species, which are to be held in capitivity in order to save many a species. The president held a press conference on the matter:

"The Baelgarian government along with civilian agencies are in Cypocar. The Hippotanian missiles that detonated over the area have caused widespread death and destruction...Any further nuclear detonations will be considered an open declaration of war against the Republic of Baelgaria, and a full military retaliation shall follow."

Environmental expert Kate Mattu had this to say:

"The Hippotanian government must be held responsible for the ecological genocide they have bestowed upon this region. We have a facility being prepared for the incoming species to be preserved, studied, and eventually reseeded into the area."

Hippostania begins a all-out counteroffensive - Jeniferian troops pushed back to southern Jeniferia

As the Great Owl was coming down, bringing hundreds of airplanes and thousands of service personel with it, Hippostanian Armed Forces were preparing for a huge counterattack. The first part of the plan was supposed to work like this: Several F-35's using their stealth systems were supposed to destroy most if not all SAM-sites in Northern Jeniferia. Afterwards, twenty B-2's started a carpet bombing of tactical facilites such as army bases, airports, chemical facilities and factories.

The second part of the plan was a lot more simple. Hippostanian Army was supposed to push over the unprepared Jeniferian Forces, and push them back to Southern Jeniferia and their capital, Holdings. They didn't have any air support as the Great Owl was just a huge pile of rubble and corpses laying in the Jeniferian countryside, and the airfields and airports had been bombed by the B-2's.



The troops were ready. The jets were ready. Everything was ready.
