Xalasamm Enters FSUS

A small Military force has been dispatched to FSUS to obtain intelligence that was left behind by Xalasamm agents in the area. The troops will be in and out quickly and won't disturb much in the region. If Synavia wishes to try to retaliate they may. We are only there to recover classified information. That is all.

I must ask, however, how related, if at all, are these documents to Synavia? And why are they in the FSUS at all?

The very fact that you say that we can try to retaliate is a sign that we should, that is, if we were larger. The first sign of any hostility will result in the Xalasammans' swift and painless deaths. (We have some very good marksmen. Trust me. Don't learn the hard way. Mmmhmmhmhmmhmhmm.)

Xalasamm soldiers have begun retrieving the project, hopefully it is mostly intact.

Xalasamm forces have reported in. The SAMOS project software has been retrieved and the hardware destroyed. The troops are now enroute back to Terythru.

Might I ask why you would take the software?

Hopefully Xalasamm will take the sensible course of action and destroy the software. We are strongly urging your government to take all necessary precautions with this piece of technology.

The software contains information of value to us. It will be destroyed once the information is retrieved.

No deal. The Xalasammians had no right to invade and steal classified information.

We have our satellite optical targeting systems trained on the airplane delivering the software. A squadron of F-22's are taking off. Operation "Blue Swallow" has commenced.

The New Synavian F-22 squadron has come in visual range of the Xalasammian aircraft over Telekarta. The aircraft, which is of an unidentifiable type, seems to be unarmed, and EM scans seem to confirm this. Unless Xalasamm has pioneered some type of weapons stealthing device, which seems very unlikely, the aircraft is almost certainly unarmed. The squadron is broadcasting messages of surrender request, and if they refuse, we will loose our missiles. We are not concerned with the state of the software: destroyed is better than in Xalasammians' grubby little hands.

More Synavian hypocrisy. Not willing to give up SAMOS because it would be 'killing' him. Yet he allows the deaths of Xalasammians ( sorry if this isn't the proper Demonym lol ), which would most likely cause another conflict resulting in thousands of more deaths.

You forget that the technocrats have a huge influence on our government. Slowly but surely, New Synavia is becoming a technocracy. This is a change I'm not particularly enamored with, considering I never majored in Applied Sciences and I will almost certainly be expunged. Seriously, the Heartlands' colleges were (and probably still are) god-awful.
