Today, the results of the Synavian parliamentary elections were released, and here they are:

Central Panel: -30 seats. Now 20 seats

Board of Science: +30 seats. Now 30 seats

Board of Poverty: +10 seats. Now 30 seats

Board of Females: +0 seats. Now 20 seats

Board of Veterans: -2 seats. Now 8 seats

Panel of Citizens: +32 seats. Now 92 seats

The addition of the board of Science is especially exciting. Before, Synavia has taken an irreverent view towards science, but now Synavia is on the road to a better, more scientific, technological future. To reflect the new attitude, Synavia has a new flag, which adds two small atom symbols, the international symbol of the fine art of science.

Once the necessary forms get filled out, Synavia will have a new nation type: The Scientific Unity of Synavia.

// Apparently, the "forms" will take a while to fill out, as the population on NS is currently 476M.

Actually, our parliamentary system does not operate on parties. Actually, Synavia does not operate on parties. Our citizens just sort of support certain boards. They are not, however, technically parties.

//A political party is a political organization that typically seeks to influence government policy, usually by nominating their own candidates and trying to seat them in political office. Parties participate in electoral campaigns, educational outreach or protest actions. Parties often espouse an expressed ideology or vision bolstered by a written platform with specific goals, forming a coalition among disparate interests.

I won't listen to anybody who copy and pastes stuff off Wikipedia.

The key difference of our boards is that they have no citizenal equivalent.

No, no. There is voting, and citizens tend to support certain boards, but there are no clearly defined citizenal parties.

No. It's freer this way, because it's more flexible on the citizenal level.
