Tragic accident kills 142 commuters in Hippostania

TERROR IN THE METRO - 142 KILLED
A tragic accident in the Waverley Metro system claimed the lives of 142 commuters today. A subway train approaching Lafayette Street station derailed halfway between Lafayette Street and Victoria Mile stations, the cause of the derailment is not yet known. The train then toppled over, smashed into hundreds of commuters waiting on the platform and destroyed another train waiting for departure. Waverley Transit Police has confirmed that at least 142 people have been killed, more than 200 have been seriously injured and 16 have been reported missing - including the driver of the derailed train. WTP has not ruled out terrorism as the cause of the accident.
The accident happened in Lafayette Street station, the 8th busiest station in the Waverley Metro network. It is a major junction for metro lines 3, 4 and 8, and 2.7 million people pass thru the station each day. Trains from lines 3 and 8 will not stop at Lafayette Street, and all services on line 8 where the accident occured have been withdrawn until further notice.

Frenzland intelligence suggests that Hippostania was aware of this crash well before it actually occured and yet did nothing to prevent it.

Lafayette Street accident wasn't an accident
Waverley Transit Police has released this picture that the ''TRAINCAM'' (a camera mounted in the front of the train) captured just before the train derailed. It appears that the driver who is still missing intentionally didn't stop the train when he saw the red signal. Instead, he increased the speed and caused the derailment when the train hit a railroad switch at high speed.
The identity of the driver is not yet known. Waverley Transit Police requests passengers to report all possible leads by calling 555-0100-715517
