Controversial Bill Passed Following Cordonian Serial Murderer's Capture
Earlier this morning, Parliament unanimously passed a bill titled "#57: Establishment of National Blacklist for Criminal Punishment". This bill prevents criminals captured in New Synavia to be returned to their home nations if their nations are on a blacklist. These criminals shall instead be tried in New Synavia according to New Synavian laws.
The event to spur this bill was the capture of a Cordonian serial murderer who was being paid by the Ultimate Supreme Executive Chairman. We knew that if he was returned, hwe would not be punished. In fact, he would likely be rewarded. We passed this bill to allow us to try him in New Synavia.
Blacklisted nations include:
Cordonis
Baelgaria
Hippostania
Sovereign Rulers
Xalasamm
These nations have been deemed unfit for the trial of criminals in New Synavia. This list may be added to at any time.
Good day.

Meh, we don't really care. If you don't give us our citizens, we'll come and get them.

I feel like this would backfire, seeing as some of the nations on the blacklist are pretty powerful.

That cannot happen. The PRSR has been known to support the killing and torture of Synavians, so we cannot count on your courts to try murderers of Synavians fairlly.Soros wrote:The P.R.S.R demands to have criminals of the sovereign tried in -our- court, on our terms.

Irrelevant. They're to be tried in P.R.S.R court wether you like it or not. If you refuse to pass them over to us we will do more than just "support" the killing and torture of Synavians.

Your statement only reinforces my point.Soros wrote:Irrelevant. They're to be tried in P.R.S.R court wether you like it or not. If you refuse to pass them over to us we will do more than just "support" the killing and torture of Synavians.
