P.R.S.R Reforms
In accordance with the recent reforms within the P.R.S.R, small-scale privatisation will take place (stores selling foreign products, entertainment and so on.) All production will still take place in factories run by workers' councils, however. Two nuclear power plants will be built utilising the rich uranium sources the country has to offer and military spending will be decreased. Freedom of speech is now a constitutional right and several new newspapers can be found on the store shelves.
Journalists have asked S.R Soros what this sudden turn in politics is caused by, and he said this for an answer:
"We're a genuinely communistic state trying to compete with capitalistic countries playing by their rules, in their system. We've done an excellent job so far, but to continue our league we have to make certain compromises. Do not be mistaken, this does not mean that we will suddenly allow exploitation of our workers, quite the contrary; we're keeping a close eye on all our private enterprises."

Re: P.R.S.R Reforms
Thanks to Communism, we have some of the happiest workers in entire Sermo. They decide over their own workplaces and receive the full value of their labour (excluding taxes, of course.) We've been criticised and told that our state is undemocratic, but that's nothing compared to the dictatorship known as "private ownership"
Thanks to the aforementioned reasons, our economy is prospering (and will prosper even more now that we're driving free-market socialism allowing us to improve our trade with other nations) and our technological advancement is rapidly going forward.
So no, erasing Communism would be a bad move.

Re: P.R.S.R Reforms
Communism is terrible and doesn't allow workers any choice whatsoever. Worker's strikes, for example, are instantly crushed by the government and forced to return to their miserable working conditions. Sorry, but no.
Re: P.R.S.R Reforms
Why would the workers strike when they're the ones running the factories? Everything the government does is to ensure law & order, distribute welfare and manage the defence. No one oppresses them, no one claims their product.

The problem is that citizens cannot be self-reliant. They must rely on the government to do everything. they cannot be free to live their own lives.

Coming from a president of a country who spends 34% of its budget on healthcare and welfare.
