How to chat: right click the tray icon -> friends -> add friend -> double click friend -> type in box that appears -> press enter -> await response

How to buy games: double click the tray icon -> steam store page -> find game to your liking -> press add to cart -> go to cart -> follow instructions -> complete purchase -> library page -> right click game, choose install -> wait till the download and install is done -> double click installed game -> play
